Philodendron Xanadu is a plant that belongs to the family Araceae and sub-genus Meconostigma, one of three sub-genera within the genus Philodendron. This plant is native to Brazil, but is widely cultivated as a landscape plant in tropical, subtropical and warm temperate climates.
The Philodendron Xanadu, is a large compact easy to grow plant. Each shiny green leathery leaf has 15-20 distinct lobes. The best part is, the older a Xanadu gets the better it looks. This green plant with huge leaves and its height does not add too much texture but adds a ton of glamour to any space.
The amount of light flooding into this apartment, simple white rustic poufy sofa, a rocking cane chair and a plain white wall full of art with a beautiful old carpet, that says come on down onto the floor = happiness.
Those green leafy highlight complete this already charming space to perfection. not entirely sure how we feel about the light fixtures, but we love this space enough to have two pictures from diff angles.
It makes for a perfect accessory on a side table(let side) or a smaller prop for the center table.
The growth of the plant can be tamed and trimmed to not excced beyond a certain height. the glossy green leaves add a lot of freshness both from a distance and from up close. Also, we personally love the contrast of these green leaves against concrete pots.
The Xanadu plant here, really helps balance the otherwise cold colors of grey and white. it still maintains the formality of the place, while making it far more pleasant and approachable.
Notice the gorgeous stand.
The white, grey and beige in this space form the perfect canvas for this lush green baby. Also love the choice of materials and textures.
yes! another one. cause we lOVE this space.
cork+white+green. should we say more?
